Adjustable Gastric Banding (AGB)
The Adjustable Gastric Banding procedure by laparoscopy was initiated
in the University Hospital BICHAT of PARIS. Since, 8 years 150 gastric
bands have been placed every year. At present many By Pass procedures
are conducted in this hospital, and surgeons of this surgery department
have set up their practice in private clinics, as Surgeon Attaché
to the University hospital BICHAT.
Like this, more than 100 Adjustable Gastric Banding procedures per
year are performed in the Clinique Internationale du Parc Monceau
in Paris, perfectly equipped and staffed for this type of surgery.
